GMS were recently appointed main contractor carrying out the refurbishment of the existing outdated MFL Science boiler plant. The new installation had to be carefully planned and installed around the old boiler room installation as all the works were carried out in term time with a planned changeover at a weekend to minimize disruption to the college.
The installation which comprised of 2 no broag 65 quinta pro boilers, 2 no variable temperature circuits, controls , new underground gas service and external drainage to allow for the condensing boilers within the boiler room. All works were completed before the completion date.
